About the role
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for visitors, clients and employees. Your exceptional communication skills and organizational abilities will help ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, and employees with a warm and professional demeanor
- Answering incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Maintaining a tidy and organized kitchen area, ensuring kitchen supplied are stocked throughout the day
- Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Scheduling and managing appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and data entry
- Monitoring and maintaining office supplies inventory, ordering as needed
- Assisting in coordinating office events and special projects
- Keeping track of visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed
- Relaying important messages and information to the relevant parties promptly
- Maintaining knowledge of company policies, procedures, and staff members to provide accurate information
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Providing general administrative support to various departments as required.
This role is office based.

- Proven experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using office equipment, including multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Pleasant and professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
