About the role

This role ensures accurate trade execution and settlement, collaborating with front and back office teams to meet deadlines and maintain data integrity. It involves managing client interactions, handling trade discrepancies, supporting regulatory reporting, and processing options trades.

Key responsibilities

As a Trade Support and Settlements Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Timely and proactive management of the trade checking process, in order to find and resolve any problems or discrepancies
• Using both forward looking and retrospective trade checks to ensure that back office/settlements can effectively reconcile previous days and months
• Working with Front and Back Office to ensure that daily settlement deadlines and currency cut-offs are met
• Ensuring that data is accurate across the different platforms used by front office
• Working with individual dealers and their clients to trade client positions, send contract notes and trade confirmations, confirm beneficiary details and complete any other trade administration as required
• Completion of the Options post-trade process and generation of options term sheets
• Performing Option Trade expiry monitoring and processing
• Investigating and resolving problems or errors with trades for either front or back office
• Performing day-to-day operation duties of settlement in an accurate and efficient manner, including payment and settlement matching for FX and derivatives transactions and payments
• Handling pre-settlement/settlement exception cases and post-settlement investigations.

This role is office based.

Essential experience & skills

•  Minimum 1 year experience as Trade Support Analyst in Financial Services
• Business or numerical based degree (Business, Economics, Math)
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent English language skills and fluent Spanish language skills
